On April 17, 2014 Cheyney University of Pennsylvania will present An Evening with Angela Davis, a benefit event in support of the Keystone Honors Academy. The event will take place on the historic Cheyney University campus. Sponsorship packages are available at many levels and capacities, and all proceeds from the event will benefit students in the Keystone Honors Academy at Cheyney University. This event is funded through private donations.
Angela Davis is an educator, scholar and author who is well known for her role in the civil rights movement. She is committed to a number of related social justice issues, including poverty, educational access, and gender inequity.
Three types of tickets are available:
1 - VIP Ticket for Dinner and Lecture - $100 - 5:00 PM in Carnegie Hall
2- Lecture Only - Public - $30 - 7:00 in Marian Anderson
3- Lecture Only - Cheyney Community - $20 - 7:00 in Marian Anderson
